Nature at its finest

The weather here in MN has been unseasonably warm, think low 50's in January!  It's been incredible if you ask me.  If only winter could always be like this, I would probably begin to actually like the season.

On Sunday, I ventured out to the local nature center with Bennett and Annika (Bianca was home sick).  We walked and explored for over an hour.  Annika climbed trees and balanced on downed logs.  Bennett ran with his walking stick.  The kids and I savored the lovely weather and the seemingly untouched nature.  It was wonderful.

Of course I took pictures too!  Duh.

I loved this view on one of the paths.  So pretty.

We found a heart shaped frozen puddle.  Nature provides such amazing things if you ask me.

This just doesn't look like winter in MN, looks so warm and inviting!

Who needs balance beams?

The fresh air is so good for this guy!

My little explorers leading the way with their walking sticks!

Climbing again!

Jump!

Fungi.

Moss.

The nature center has these awesome handmade teepee's all over the place hidden in the trees.  The kids love them.

This girl has no fear when it comes to climbing!

Jumping!

If, or when we get some snow, we are heading back to do some snowshoeing. I can't wait!
