School Days

Bennett and Bianca began preschool this week. Bennett is just starting and Bianca is on her last year at the preschool. For some reason, Bennett starting preschool was really hard on me. The reality that my last baby was hitting such a huge milestone made me quite sad and incredibly nervous. Of course he did just fine and couldn't have cared less that I was there, but still, he's my baby.  

I had to get the standard shots I've been taking since Annika began preschool, a shot right in front of our orange door.  Here's Bianca at 4 1/2 and beginning Pre-K.  Seriously, how on earth will she be in kindergarten next year?

And the baby, my sweet and goofy little dude Bennett.  He loves school.  He was ready to go at 7am, backpack on and almost in the car.  Funny kiddo, he just loves having something that's his own and school is that for him.  It makes him feel big and independent.  I love this boy.

Bianca on the other hand was quite nervous.  She switched locations this year which meant new teachers and new friends.  She's adapted quite well and we all know she's not a shy lady.  

As my children grow and learn, I can only hope that they are happy, well adjusted and willing to learn.  As long as all those components are all there, they will do amazing things in their lives.  I love all you little munchkins!
